Each year thousands of dogs across Australia are impounded for a variety of reasons. Renowned comedian Joel Creasey teams up with leading dog behaviourist Laura V as they try to reduce the number of dogs in pounds. Together they rescue, train and pair each dog with a family or person in need of a new best friend. This is the premise for ABC’s hit series, New Leash on Life.
In this pre-recorded interview before the Logie Awards, Joel Creasey joined host and head of entertainment at Mediaweek and Chattr, Anita Anabel, to talk about New Leash on Life, why he’s a self-described “fame whore”, how he shared a toothbrush with fellow Eurovision host Myf Warhurst and gave some insight into his parents who stand at the door thanking his fans for coming to his shows!
