Twisted Metal is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese (DeadPool) and Paul Wernick (Zombieland).
The series follows John Doe (played by Marvel’s Anthony Mackie) a motor mouthed outsider with no memory of his past, who is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make his wish of finding community come true, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
With the help of Quiet (played by Stephanie Beatriz - Brooklyn 99 and Encanto) a trigger-happy car thief searching for revenge, he faces twisted marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a highway patrolman and a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.
In this episode, host and head of entertainment at Mediaweek and Chattr, Anita Anabel chatted with Stephanie about her very physical role, what it was like working with Anthony and she gave some very fun advice to her teen self.
