Culinary icon and owner of some of Australia’s most highly regarded restaurants, Matt Moran, has been travelling around the state trying dishes to find the Perfect Plate of 2023. The competition began at the end of May, seeing Matt and chef Courtney Roulston seeking out the best Club meal in NSW. In this episode, host and head of entertainment at Mediaweek and Chattr, Anita Anabel, spoke to Matt about the competition; however, once they got talking the conversation turned into a chat about his career, what happened when he got a little too rowdy at Opera Bar, his love for Maggie Beer and Gordon Ramsay and how he’s expanding his bevy of restaurants even more.
