Zak Abdi served as the Edmonton Regional Chair for the Alberta Liberal Party. More recently, Zak volunteered with the Black-Owned Market in Edmonton (BOM YEG) as finance lead.
He is now seeking the nomination for the Green Party of Alberta in the provincial riding of Edmonton City Centre.
Zak currently works in the financial services industry as an analyst. He also owns and operates a small transportation business. Zak obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the JR Shaw School of Business at NAIT and is pursuing his Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation through the Credit Institute of Canada.
