In Isaiah 14:3-27, the prophet encouraged God’s people that they will taunt the wicked king of Babylon with six truths that also apply to the ultimate victory that God’s people will experience over Satan: (1) the earth will rest; (2) the dead will scoff; (3) the stars will recall; (4) the living will loathe; (5) the legacy will end; and (6) God's purpose will stand.
