Welcome back to Shoe Eating Monster, where I devour shoes. This time, I put the Altra Lone Peak 6 to the test after picking up a used pair. And let me tell you… these things are TOUGH. I ran them hard, and somehow, they just kept going. In fact, I’m giving them a 9.5/10 for durability, which is nearly unheard of in my book.
These zero-drop legends are known for their roomy toe box, grippy MaxTrac outsole, and responsive Altra EGO midsole, making them a dream for trail runners who love comfort and control. The quick-dry upper handled everything I threw at it, and the StoneGuard protection kept my feet from getting wrecked.
So, did the Lone Peak 6 survive my torture test? Absolutely. But are they the perfect trail shoe? Tune in to find out!
