John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
The lame man in this story responded with an excuse as often we do. Excusing ourselves to justify why we're still living in the same mess we have been for a long time. Are you really ready to be made whole? To do the hard work? To stop wearing your bitterness like a badge, but now become a walking, living testimony of God's miracle-working power?
Recognize when the miracle-worker shows up, don't focus on the pool or the people, fix your eyes on Jesus. Whatever He tells you to do be ready to respond in obedience and THEN you will walk into your miracle!
