Perfection is a future event, not a final exam. We are not ensured success, but Jesus does promise victory if we just need to take our next step of faith. Could it be that the challenges you are facing or will face is an opportunity for your faith to be tested and for your heart to be strengthened?
Failure isn't about things turning out how I expected or not; Failure is when we don’t bounce back! Try, try again.
Luke 11:9-10 NLT
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
"Try, Try Again" by T. H. Palmer: “Teacher’s Manual” (1840)
’Tis a lesson you should heed,
If at first you don’t succeed,
Try, try again;
Then your courage should appear,
For if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear
Try, try again;
Once or twice, though you should fail,
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again;
If we strive, ‘tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again
If you find your task is hard,
Time will bring you your reward,
Try, try again
All that other folks can do,
Why, with patience, should not you?
Only keep this rule in view:
Try, try again.
