Come delve into the frenetic madness of Terry Gilliam's 1995 film "12 Monkeys" with us this week as we continue Season 1: 90's Sci-Fi and Fantasy Films. In a startling upset, there are far fewer than twelve actual monkeys in this film. But never fear, there are many other delights on offer, namely butts! Evan edited out about 40 minutes of us talking about Brad Pitt's ass. I guess you'll have to wait for some type of super cut to enjoy that. Back to the film: it's a manic, maximalist, magical romp down the halls of Gilliam's cluttered mind. It weaves together themes of memory and personal accountability, pulling from the 1962 film "La Jetée." We really enjoyed this one and hope you do too!
