Survive & Thrive 8791 welcomes Coach Bo Ryan back to the Buck & Honey's remote studios. Coach Ryan will be Coach Decorah's special guest until his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.
Coach Ryan talks about where his coaching career started with stops at Brookhaven Junior High School, Dominican College of Racine, Sun Valley High School, & University of Wisconsin.
In the second segment, Coach talks about the recruitment of Jerry "Ice" Reynolds to Madison, WI. What a talent "Ice" was as a high school player from the east coast. Reynolds would go on to a successful 8 year NBA career.
The last segment features the story of "The Philly Roll", and college recruiting. Special stories about the late Lefty Driesell, a coach of 40 plus years at Davidson, Maryland, James Madison, and Georgia State.
