About Martin Silverman
Martin Silverman is a dedicated father, grandfather, husband, and retired principal with a long history in education in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout his career, Martin has focused on nurturing school culture, supporting English Language Learners (ELLs), and developing future educators. A former bilingual teacher and administrator, Martin’s experience spans urban, suburban, and rural districts, with an emphasis on creating enriching experiences for students and families. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Martin learned the value of hard work and the love of literacy early on, which inspired his journey in education.
