Description

This week we switch up the conversation a little bit to discuss the history, impacts and meaning of black masculinity. Brian Borden and Chris Rudder join us to talk about how the perception of black men and black masculinity has been influenced since the times of slavery, post-slavery period, through the civil rights era and to today. We also cover the heated topic of "toxic masculinity" and how toxic traits can be passed down from one generation to the other. Lastly, we close on solutions that black men can focus on to stop the spread of toxic traits and promote a more positive image of black masculinity.
