In today's episode, Nadjejda speaks on the need for courageous and compassionate leaders, healers, teachers, coaches, mentors who are all influencers in the personal development industrial complex and the mental health industrial complex. This is something she's very passionate about because she sees a disconnect between many of people who have taken on those roles and those who follow, work, and learn from them.
She also believes that the new world that we are being called to create requires new, courageous, authentic, and compassionate leadership. As we continue to bear witness to our world being on fire, many of our "leaders", influencers, healers, teachers are carrying on like nothing is happening and remaining silent on what's impacting us, our communities, and the world.
We are taught to focus only on what we can control which makes us believe that we powerless and we need to focus solely on ourselves and those close to us.
You know, things like work and focus on you only which breeds individualism and there's no mention of the collective in terms of what's been and continues to happen in our world which is hitting closer to home.
She calls on leaders and others mentioned to shift if they want to make a difference and for their content to be relevant. She calls on those who want to speak up on what's happening to show up and she understands the fear and struggle they are experiencing in choosing to do so.
She hopes this episode will begin an important conversation on this important issue and inspire people to reflect and take action in their lives, businesses, and work.
