Description

In this episode, we are joined by Malcolm Davis, upcoming co-host, Tracy Poelzer and Stephen Jones. Tracy works as an Education Specialist at the University of Groningen, but has a diverse background in education including experience in both public and indigenous education systems, and from primary school to academic university level. Dr Stephen Jone's expertise is in Cognitive Modelling in the field of linguistics, and also teaches and researches at the University of Groningen. We discuss topics such as the differences between teaching in study programmes- how both teachers and students interpret it, as well as hierarchy in the classroom, various techniques in order to humanise learning experience and whether or not there is a difference between online and in-person education (as well as so much more!).
