What did you do last Friday?
Was it just an average day for you?
Even though last Friday wasn't a special holiday, it was still a special day for some people.
Last Friday was November 11th, and the year was 111, on the R.O.C. calendar.
That means it was "11, 11, 111"!
The Taiwan Railways Administration sold special tickets for the day.
They prepared 50,000 special tickets.
The tickets had the numbers "1111111" on them.
The most popular tickets, were for a trip between Yongkang (永康) and Baoan (保安) stations in Tainan.
The tickets show the names of the stations.
And when you read the four characters in a counterclockwise direction (逆時鐘方向)…
They become "Yong Bao An Kang (永保安康)", which means "peace and health forever".
台鐵配合民國111年11月11日,推出日期印7個1的永康到保安站、「永保安康」區間車車票。
The TRA says the tickets were sold out very quickly.
Other parts of Taiwan marked the fun date, too!
Many people visited a highway in Taitung County's Chenggong Township.
There is a sign there, to mark the 111-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway No. 11.
Many people checked in there at 11:11 AM.

Spinning Top Added to Toy Hall of Fame
Have you ever played with a spinning top (陀螺)?
It's a toy that has a round shape and a pointy bottom.
You make it spin by pulling a rope, or a handle.
Tops come in all sizes and colors, and they can be made of wood, metal, plastic, or other materials.
The spinning top has a long history.
Children all over the world have played with spinning tops.
There's even ancient Greek pottery more than 2,000 years old that shows people playing with spinning tops.
旋轉陀螺是在許多考古遺跡裏最古老的玩具之一。
And now, the spinning top is being added to the "National Toy Hall of Fame", a list in the U.S. for toys and games that have been popular (受歡迎) for a long time.
These toys must also encourage people to be creative (有創意).
New toys are added to the list each year.
All the toys chosen for the National Toy Hall of Fame are shown at The Strong National Museum of Play in New York State.
Other famous toys there include Lego (樂高), Monopoly (地產大享), and Rubik's Cubes (魔術方塊).

科學家發現鬱金香新品種
New Tulip Species Found in Kyrgyzstan
Tulips (鬱金香) are a very well-known flower.
The flowers are shaped like bells (鈴鐺).
They're usually a bright colors, like red, orange, or yellow.
Today, you can find them in fields and gardens all over the world.
But now, scientists say they have found a new species of tulip.
The "Tulipa Toktogulica" was found by researchers in Kyrgyzstan (吉爾吉斯斯坦).
This wild tulip grows in a mountainous area.
It has a bright yellow flower.
And the outside of its petals have red streaks.
這種鬱金香品種主要是黃色,花瓣外側有紅條紋。
The scientists used DNA testing to make sure it's really a new tulip species.
They say the find is "super exciting".
They will now try to grow more of the tulips, which could take years.
科學家希望可以培育出更多這種鬱金香,不過這個過程可能需要好幾年的時間。
