Anteater Little Red's Life on the Run
Little Red is an escape artist.
小紅是逃脫大師。
She is a lesser anteater who lives at the Taipei Zoo.
Two years ago, Little Red ran away from her home at the zoo.
Zookeepers and experts searched high and low for her.
Finally, three months later, someone found Little Red.
Little Red was dirty and weak (虛弱).
Soon, after lots of rest and food, she became strong again.
But, many people wondered…
What was Little Red doing for three months out in the wild?
How did she survive (存活下來)?
Now experts are telling us more about Little Red's life on the run (奔逃).
They collected some fecal samples from Little Red after she came back to the zoo.
專家取得小紅被捕捉後的野外糞便進行分析。
They found that Little Red ate termites (白蟻).
And she also ate 14 different types of ants, while she was in the wild.
These ants live up in trees.
So the experts knew that Little Red mostly hunted for food high up in trees.
They think this is also how she avoided dogs.
While Little Red was gone, many people were worried dogs might attack, or even kill her.
But now they know Little Red stayed up in trees, and away from dogs.
And that's how Little Red lived her life on the run.

阿聯國打造「火星城市」
UAE Builds "Martian City" in the Desert
One country is building a Martian city.
But the city is not on Mars.
It will be in Dubai.
The United Arab Emirates (阿拉伯聯合大公國) wants to have people living on Mars in the next 100 years.
To get ready for this, they have a lot of work to do.
The UAE is imagining what the city on Mars looks like.
And it is building that city in the desert outside Dubai.
阿拉伯聯合大公國準備打造一座模擬火星城市。
"Mars Science City" is a prototype (原型).
The city must be able to keep people alive on Mars.
Experts would need to create all kinds of new technology (科技) for the city.
They already have some ideas.
Houses for people would be deep underground (地下).
This will keep people safe from radiation and meteors (隕星).
But what about light?
The underground houses would have "water windows".
They are windows on the ceiling (屋頂).
And outside the window there is an aquarium (水族館).
This way, the water would be a shield (屏障) against radiation.
Light could get into the underground rooms.
And people can enjoy watching fish swim too.
Scientists are not sure when Mars Science City will be built.
They say the big project could last over generations (好幾代).
