Taiwanese Chef Squad Embarks on Tasty World Tour!
Stinky tofu, beef noodle soup, braised pork rice…
臭豆腐、牛肉麵、滷肉飯…
Three-cup chicken, soup dumplings, pineapple cake.
三杯雞、湯包、鳳梨酥。
Taiwan has so many yummy dishes!
And in May, a group of talented chefs (廚師) is going on a six-month adventure to visit 20 countries around the world.
Their mission is to share delicious Taiwanese food and meet people from different countries.
他們的使命是分享台灣美食，還有認識來自不同國家的朋友。
These chefs will visit 55 places and give 106 presentations (演講) about food.
This exciting journey is called the International Tour of Taiwan Gourmet Cuisine (臺灣美食國際巡迴講座), and it has been happening every year since 2010.
These chefs are experts (高手) in making yummy dishes from different parts of Taiwan.
They'll be giving cooking demonstrations, chatting with restaurant owners, and visiting catering businesses.
他們會教大家做菜，跟餐館老闆聊天，還去參觀餐飲業。
This tasty tour will bring everyone closer through the universal language of deliciousness!
這一趟美味之旅藉著美食這個共同語言，拉近彼此的距離！

埃及大金字塔內 發現隱藏的通道
Hidden Corridor Discovered in Egypt's Great Pyramid
Scientists have found a hidden passage (隱藏的通道) in Egypt's Great Pyramid.
It's 9 meters long and over 2 meters wide.
This amazing discovery is part of a seven-year international research project called ScanPyramids.
這個驚人的新發現，是長達七年的【掃描金字塔】國際研究計畫 ScanPyramids 的成果。
This project started in 2015 and is a collaboration (合作) between universities in France, Germany, Canada, and Japan, along with a group of Egyptian experts (埃及專家).
The project is supervised by archaeologist Zahi Hawass, Egypt's former antiquities minister.
這個計畫由考古學家扎希·哈瓦斯（Zahi Hawass）主持，他曾經是埃及文物部部長。
The team uses advanced technology, like infrared thermography (熱像儀) to see hidden parts of the pyramid without digging it up.
The Great Pyramid is the largest in Giza and stands 146 meters tall.
It's the only remaining structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
它是古代世界七大奇蹟中唯一仍然存在的建築。
The pyramid was built about 4,500 years ago and has three known chambers (已經知道的密室).
Like other pyramids in Egypt, it was made as a tomb for a pharaoh (作為法老的墳墓而建造的).
Dr. Hawass believes the hidden tunnel might have been built to protect the burial chamber of King Khufu (為了保護胡夫法老王的墓室而建了隱藏的通道).

Google's New AI Chatbot
Google has introduced (推出了) its own AI chatbot named Bard.
It can answer questions like a human by getting up-to-date information from the internet.
它可以像人類一樣回答問題，並且從網上獲取最新信息。
Bard is seen as a rival competitor (競爭對手) to ChatGPT, which launched last year.
To use Bard, you need to be over 18 years old (年滿 18 歲) and have a Google account (帳戶).
But Google warns that Bard has some limitations (局限) and might share wrong information.
For now, only users (用戶) in the US and UK can try Bard.
What makes Bard different from ChatGPT?
Bard has a "Google it" button that lets users check facts and see the sources used, like Wikipedia.
Bard有一個【谷歌一下】按鈕，讓用戶核對事實並且查看資料來源，例如維基百科。
Instead of providing web pages or links like a search engine, Bard can give direct answers to questions and even write essays or poems!
Bard不像搜索引擎那樣提供網頁或連結，而是直接回答問題，甚至寫文章或詩歌！
A Google employee says Bard is an experiment (實驗) and he hopes people will use it as a launchpad for creativity (創意的起點).
