Taipei Zoo's Happy Chicken Village
The Taipei Zoo has created a special place called the "Happy Chicken Village" (快樂雞莊) to show people how to take care of chickens in a sustainable way (永續的方式).
The village is designed (設計) to make the chickens happy and comfortable (舒適).
The Taipei Zoo says that taking care of animals is important, and they want to show people how to do it right.
The enclosure (場所) is a special place where chickens can run around and play.
And they have a cozy (舒服的) place to lay their eggs.
The zoo says they will have 80 chickens living in the village, and they will start laying eggs (下蛋) in about two months.
They think they will get around 60 eggs each day!
The eggs will be collected (收集) and cooked for the other animals at the zoo to eat (煮給動物園的其他動物享用).
The zoo hopes that people will see how happy the chickens are and will want to buy eggs that are made from happy chickens, so that farmers will start taking care of their animals in a friendly way too.
Chickens are important animals, and their eggs are a healthy source of protein
The "Happy Chicken Village" is a great example (範例) of how to take care of chickens in a sustainable way.
We hope that more people will learn from the zoo and take care of their chickens the same way.

Spanish Church Emerges from Drought
There is a very old church in Catalonia, Spain
It's called the Church of Sant Rom? (聖羅馬教堂), and it has just re-emerged from a reservoir after a drought that has lasted for months.
Spain has not had enough rain over the last three years, and it has caused a long-term drought
Because of this, some old structures (古老建築物) like the Church of Sant Rom? have been re-appearing from reservoirs (水庫).
The ancient church was flooded in the 1960s when a dam was built nearby to supply water.
Now, water levels (水位) in Catalonia are so low that the Sau Reservoir is only ten per cent full at the moment (Sau水庫目前只有容量的十分之一).
So, the church has re-appeared!
Lots of people are visiting the Sau Reservoir to see the church, but it's causing some problems for the fish and wildlife (野生動物) in the area.
Fishermen and wildlife workers are having to remove fish from the lake to save them and keep the reservoir clean because there is not enough water.
The dry weather in Spain is also increasing the risk of wildfires (也增加了野火的風險), so officials in Catalonia are asking people to cut down (減少) on their water use.

Dinosaur with World's Longest Neck
And now for some exciting news from the world of dinosaurs!
Scientists have discovered something new about a dinosaur called Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum
It lived more than 160 million years ago
This dinosaur has the longest neck (脖子) of any animal that has ever lived!
The neck of the Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum is around 15 meters long (15公尺長).
The Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum was discovered in northwest China in 1987, and it's part of a group of dinosaurs called sauropods
Sauropods are known for having long necks.
Scientists looked at the bones and fossils (化石) of the Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum to figure out how long its neck was.
They compared the fossils to the skeletons (骨架) of its closest relatives and concluded (得出結論) that the dinosaur had a 15-meter-long neck!
Sauropods had such long necks because they used them to get food.
Having a long neck also increases the body's surface area, allowing sauropods to get rid of extra body heat.
The new findings (新發現) about Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum show how much scientists can discover about dinosaurs from incomplete fossils (不完整的化石).
