Wedding Photos at Garbage Mountain
Many people like to head up into the mountains to take their wedding photos (婚紗照).
Taiwan's beautiful mountains are a perfect backdrop for lovely photos.
Some take photos on Yangming Mountain in Taipei.
Some take their photos on Jade Mountain.
Many also like Hehuan Mountain.
But how about a "garbage mountain"?
A couple in Nantou County took their wedding photos in front of a mountain of garbage.
The bride wore a white dress, and the groom wore a suit.
And they stood holding hands, in front of the pile of trash in Puli Township.
It's a temporary (暫時性的) garbage storage site.
Sites like this are used because there isn't enough space in landfills.
Or sometimes the garbage has to be shipped to an incinerator (焚化爐) far away.
The couple wanted more people to know about this problem.
The bride says at first, when they told the photographer (攝影師) about this idea, he thought they were joking.
And the person who drove them to the site was also confused (困惑).
The driver said this was the first time he had heard of such a thing.
And he's been driving couples to their wedding shoots for more than 30 years!
The bride admitted that there was a "strong odor" at the trash site.
But the couple wanted people to think more about waste.
They hope to encourage people to create less garbage, and do their part to keep Taiwan beautiful.

Scorching "Pepper X" Crowned Hottest Chili Pepper
Hot stuff coming through!
There's a new hottest chili pepper in town.
The Guinness World Records has named a new "hottest chili pepper".
But first, how do we know how hot, or spicy something is?
There's a scale for that!
The Scoville Scale tells you how hot a chili pepper is.
It measures the hotness of chili peppers in Scoville Heat Units, or SHUs.
Most chili peppers we eat in our food are around 500 SHUs or less.
A jalapeno pepper (墨西哥辣椒) can be up to 8,000 SHUs.
Now we get into the really hot stuff.
For the last 10 years, the official hottest chili pepper in the world was the "Carolina Reaper".
On the Scoville Scale, this chili pepper measures around 1.6 million SHUs!
But now, there is a chili pepper that is even hotter.
The greenish-yellow "Pepper X" is about the size of a cherry.
And it hits 2.69 million SHUs!
Both Pepper X and the Carolina Reaper are grown by man named Ed Currie.
Ed worked on Pepper X for 10 years on his farm in South Carolina.
He says he worked with a team to grow the super-hot chili pepper.
So what's it like to eat a Pepper X?
There are only five people in the entire world who have eaten an entire Pepper X.
And Ed is one of them.
He says there's an "intense burn" (強烈的灼熱感) right away.
Then Ed says the burn spreads to his arms, then his chest.
And he says there are cramps (抽筋), and lot of pain.
Ed says he felt the heat for three and a half hours.
And he says he went outside and laid down in the rain for an hour!
Of course, Ed is a professional who has worked with chili peppers for a long time.
It's definitely not a good idea to try this yourself.
Ed also hinted that he is still working on growing chili peppers that may be even hotter than Pepper X.
