Grandpa Uses Granddaughter to Defend Against Geese
If you've ever been to Tainan's Metropolitan Park, you might have noticed a flock of geese (一群鵝).
The birds are very beautiful, and they look like they are fun to play with.
But bird experts say geese can attack (攻擊) when another animal -- or a human -- enters its territory (領地).
One grandfather in Tainan learned that when he and his granddaughter visited the Park, and found themselves the target (目標) of one very angry goose.
The goose got very angry when the little girl entered his territory so he began to hiss, and chase the little girl.
The grandfather saw the goose chasing his granddaughter and he picked her up (把她抱起來).
And because the goose wouldn't stop, the grandfather swung his granddaughter to try and scare the goose away.
People in the park saw what happened and took videos to share on social media platforms
The video has gone viral
Some people who saw the video said it looked like the grandfather was using his granddaughter as a weapon to protect himself.
But other people say the grandfather was just protecting (保護) both of them.
And while the poor grandfather may be getting teased (被取笑), it's also a chance for park officials to remind visitors not to go near the geese.

What Happens to Candy Wrappers after Halloween?
If you went out for Halloween this year, chances are you got candy.
But did you stop to think about (停下來想想) what to do with candy wrappers?
Recyclers in the United States say candy wrappers are difficult to recycle.
First of all, candy wrappers are so small they become a problem for other recyclable materials
They even become a contaminant to other recyclable material because candy wrappers stick to them when they are being sorted.
The second reason candy wrappers are difficult to recycle is because sometimes, they are made from different materials.
They are made with a combination of plastic and aluminum, or paper and aluminum, so the wrapper becomes impossible to recycle.
But there are times when candy wrappers can be recycled.
Recyclers says when a candy wrapper is the same color and material on the outside and inside, it's made with the same material.
That's the kind of candy wrapper you can recycle.
But recyclers want you to know that if you're not sure about your candy wrapper, it's probably better to treat it like regular trash and throw it away.

Strong Winds Turn Christmas Balls into Christmas Hazards
Whenever a typhoon is close, or whenever there are strong winds, weather officials always warn us to be careful
They tell us to secure things (把東西固定好), so that the wind can't move them too much.
One place in London may not have been paying too much attention to what the weatherman warned about strong winds.
They didn't tie down their giant Christmas balls securely enough.
So when the winds came, two huge Christmas balls were blown away (被吹走了), and they started rolling down the street.
The balls are bigger than cars.
So when they rolled down the road, the cars had to move very, very fast to get out of the balls' way (避開球的路).
For a while, the street looked like it was part of an action movie.
Some people wanted to know why stores put up their Christmas decorations so early, since it is only November.
