Hualien Bead Heading to Chicago Museum
A little piece of Hualien is heading to Chicago.
This little piece of Hualien, is a glass bead (玻璃珠).
The orange bead was found in Hualien in 2016.
Experts say the bead was made about 1,000 years ago.
It was dug out of the ground, along with other old things like stone tools, and animal bones.
The bead is about the size of your pinky finger nail (小拇指指甲).
And there is a hole in the middle of the bead.
The Hualien Archeological Museum is lending (借) the glass bead to the Field Museum in Chicago.
花蓮縣考古博物館將把這顆玻璃珠送往美國的Field Museum實驗室做成分分析。
Usually, the Hualien Archeological Museum doesn't lend out its artifacts (古物).
But it is making an exception (例外).
The bead will stay at the Field Museum for a year.
The Field Museum will study (研究) the bead.
Experts hope they can find out where the bead came from.
They'd also like to know how it was made.
Knowing this would help experts learn more about ancient Taiwan.

He played basketball in the NBA (美國職籃) for 15 seasons.

Now, Jordan has set another record.
A jersey (球衣) worn by Jordan has been sold for a record-high price.
The jersey sold for $10,000,000 U.S. dollars, at an auction (拍賣) in New York.
That's about $320,000,000 NT (3.2 億台幣)!
It's the most money ever for something worn in sports games.

And it also broke the record for most expensive thing worn in a sports game.
Before this, the most expensive thing was a shirt worn by soccer legend Diego Maradona.
Maradona wore the shirt in 1986, and it was sold for $9,300,000 U.S. dollars earlier this year.
