Are you ready for an exciting adventure?

National Geographic Traveler has released its "Cool List" for 2024.

They chose 30 amazing places to visit for the list.

These destinations are perfect for travelers who want to experience something new and different.

Whether you're looking for ancient ruins, vibrant cities, or stunning landscapes, there's something on this list for everyone.

And a city in Taiwan has made it onto the list!

Tainan City was listed for its amazing connection to history.

National Geographic says people have lived there for a long time.

And it says Tainan has been influenced (影響) by many other countries including Spain and Japan.

National Geographic says you can see a lot of history in Tainan's architecture (建築物).

It also says there are many big events in Tainan throughout the year.

Nat Geo points to the Yanshui Beehive Fireworks Festival as a very exciting event.

During the festival, tons of rockets are set off with people standing close by.

National Geographic says it's "not for the faint-hearted".

And Nat Geo says street food in Tainan is also a major draw

It recommends visitors try the danzai noodle soup with shrimp, or the "coffin bread" with creamy soup inside.

And Nat Geo says in 2024, Tainan will celebrate its 400th birthday.

It says this is another great reason to visit next year.

Other "cool" places that made the list include Tartu in Estonia, Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland, and the Atacama Desert in Chile.

Titanic First Class Menu Up for Auction

Imagine you are a passenger on a big ship called the Titanic.

It is a very fancy ship, and the food is delicious!

In fact, many people called it the "most luxurious ship in the world".

Would you like to see what the first-class menu looked like on the night the Titanic sailed away?

A rare first-class menu from the Titanic is up for auction.

This menu is very old and special, and it might sell for a lot of money!

In fact, experts say it may sell for $86,000 US dollars.

That's about $2,700,000 NT!

The menu shows the first dinner for first-class customers on board the Titanic after it set sail on April 11th, 1912.

Some of the dishes people could choose include oysters, sirloin steak (沙朗牛排), French ice cream and chocolate puffs.

The paper menu has a lot of water stains.

Some of the words are hard to see.

Experts believe the menu was in the North Atlantic Ocean for some time, after the Titanic sank.

The auction house selling the menu says so far they have found no other first-class menus for that night from the Titanic.

A few years ago, an auction house sold another menu from the Titanic.

That was a first-class lunch menu, for the day the Titanic sank into the ocean.

The menu sold for $88,000 US dollars.

There are also other things from the Titanic that are being sold.

A blanket used by someone in a lifeboat is also expected to sell for a lot of money.

That person got safely to shore, and gave the blanket to someone else.

Experts believe this blanket could sell for $123,000 US dollars.

It is sad to think about the people who didn't survive the sinking of the Titanic.

But these objects help us remember them.
