Surprise Performance for Taroko Music Festival
Musicians put on a surprise performance (表演) at a train station.
The show was held at Hualien Station.
First, students from Tonglan Elementary School sang songs from the Truku people.
The Truku, also known as Taroko (太魯閣族), are an Indigenous Taiwanese people.
Then, indigenous singer Kuli sang "Happy Birthday", accompanied by five musicians from the Taipei Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
They were a musical flash mob.
A flash mob is a group of people who get together in a public space.
They do something, all together, like perform a dance, or sing a song.
And then they leave.
When the musicians performed at Hualien Station, many people stopped to listen and enjoy the music.
But what was this for?
They were celebrating this year's Taroko Music Festival.
This is the 20th year that the festival has been held.
The festival will take place on October 22nd.
It starts 10:30am, at the Taroko Terrace stage in Taroko National Park.
People who go to the festival can enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful outdoor space.

NASA Probe Successfully Hits Asteroid
We practice (練習) for all kinds of emergencies.
You might have practiced at school, for what to do in an earthquake.
Or maybe at home, you practiced what to do if there's a fire.
Well, the U.S. space agency NASA is doing the same… for an asteroid (小行星) hitting Earth!
NASA sent a small space probe (太空探測器) into space.
Their goal, was to crash it into an asteroid.
And they've done it!
The Dart probe has hit an asteroid.
That asteroid is called Dimorphos.
It is 160 meters wide.
If you put it on the ground, it would be about as high as a building 40 floors tall
Dart has a camera.
The camera took photos every second.
And it kept taking photos until the moment Dart crashed into Dimorphos.
All this happened 11,000,000 kilometers from Earth.
So, why would NASA want to set up this crash (碰撞)?
They want to test what they could do, if an asteroid comes too close to Earth.
There are many space rocks moving around in space.
And some scientists say a space rock hitting Earth could be dangerous.
NASA says a small space rock, about the size of an 8-story building, would cause an explosion in the sky.
Some people might get hurt in the explosion.
A bigger space rock like Dimorphos, could make a big hole on Earth, and many deaths.
Then there are the very big space rocks.
If you put one of these rocks on the ground, they would be as high as five Taipei 101s.
If one of these hit the Earth, it could cause mass extinction (大滅絕).
So scientists want to be ready.
They want to practice what they could do, if space rocks come too close to Earth.
One of their ideas, is to send something out into space, to crash into the space rock.
This might change the direction (方向) that the space rock is flying in.
And that's the idea that they tested out with Dart.
Now, they are collecting data, to see if it worked.

Megan Thee Stallion Creates Mental Health Website
Megan Thee Stallion now has a website for mental health.
The website lists places where people can help.
On the site, there are organizations that offer free therapy
There are also helplines (求助熱線), for people having a hard time.
The website also shows other places where people can find more information about mental health
The American rapper helped put together the website.
In the past, Megan has talked about going to therapy after her mom died in 2019.
She was very open about how she needed help.
She says she learned that it is okay to ask for help.
Megan Thee Stallion
And she says the website might help, if anyone "needs a hand".
