TikToker Banned For Life from Basketball Games
TikTokers (抖音網紅) are people who post their videos on TikTok.
Most TikTokers want to share their lives, show their talents, or dance.
But some TikTokers just want to get people's attention
They'll do anything for more views (觀看).
For example, one TikToker recently ran onto a basketball court, during two professional games in Taiwan.
During a T1 League game between the Taoyuan Leopards and Kaohsiung Aquas, a TikToker named Yu suddenly ran onto the court.
He started shouting and running around star player Dwight Howard.
The security guards (保安人員) grabbed Yu quickly.
After the game, Dwight Howard said it was dangerous for people to run onto the court.
But that did not stop Yu.
He thought it was a good way to get attention.
The next day, during a Plus League game between the Taoyuan Pilots and the Kaohsiung Steelers, Yu ran onto the court again.
The fans were angry (粉絲們生氣了), and they booed as Yu was once again grabbed by security.
The day after that, both T1 League and Plus League announced that the TikToker would be banned for life (終生禁止).
Now, Yu can never again attend a pro basketball game in Taiwan.
Why did he act like this?
He wanted more people to see him and watch his channel (頻道).
He did not care that his actions might be harmful (危害) to the players and to himself.
He should find a different way to get attention.
Maybe he could learn how to dance?

European Countries Plan Huge Wind Farm
In the north of Europe (北歐), there is a windy sea.
It's called the North Sea (北海), and for many years it was famous for oil.
Countries like Norway (挪威) and the UK (英國) saw huge profits from North Sea oil.
Nowadays we are in a climate crisis (氣候危機), and we need to stop burning oil.
Instead, the North Sea will provide a different kind of power.
Nine countries want to use this sea to make wind power
Each of these countries already has some wind turbines (風力機) on the sea.
Now, they want to expand and combine their wind farms, to create a massive source of wind power.
It will be Europe's biggest green power plant
What's their goal?
They want the North Sea wind farms to generate eight times more power (發電量增加八倍) by the year 2050.
Right now, these wind farms generate less than 40GW (不到四十吉瓦).
So, the goal is to increase that to 300GW (三百吉瓦).
It's a huge goal!
None of these countries can reach this goal alone.
They will need to share technology (技術) and resources (資源) to build the wind farms.
This green energy project will be important in adapting to climate change
It will also help to make sure Europe has enough energy in 2050.
These nine countries have made a big promise (重大承諾) to expand green energy.
If they keep their promise, the windy North Sea will become Europe's biggest green power plant!

Gen Z Spends More Time on Social Media
What generation are you a part of?
That depends on your age.
If you were born between 1995 and 2015, you are a member of Generation Z, or "Gen Z" (Z世代).
In these years, social media became popular.
So Gen Z has grown up with social media.
Many Gen Zers have used Facebook, Instagram and other apps for their whole lives.
But how does Gen Z feel about social media?
A new study by McKinsey Health Institute answers this question.
The study says Gen Zers are more likely to report negative feelings (負面情緒) about social media.
It also says that Gen Z spends more time on social media every day, compared to other generations.
The study shows that 35% of people in Gen Z spend over two hours on social media daily.
It found one in four Gen Zers connect spending a lot of time on social media with poorer mental health
So, Gen Z spends more time on social media, and they feel worse about social media overall.
But social media is not all bad.
According to the study, many people think social media helps them express themselves (表達自己) and connect with other people (與他人聯繫).
This has a positive effect on our lives
So, in some ways, social media can be a good thing.
Just don't spend too much time on it!
