Taiwan "Tug of War" Team Wins Big at World Championships
A team of Taiwan athletes is bringing home the gold!
They were competing at the "Tug of War" World Outdoor Championships (2022室外拔河世界錦標賽).
The competition was held in the Netherlands (荷蘭).
Countries around the world can each send one team.
And their goal (目標) is to win against other teams.
Tug of War is a sport.
Two teams hold opposite (相對的) ends of a rope.
And each team tries to pull the other team over a line in the middle.
The team from Taiwan did very well at the competition.
They won four gold medals!
The team also won a silver and a bronze medal.
It also rained a lot during the competition.
這次台灣的參賽者在荷蘭比賽時遇到大雨。
Rainy weather makes tug of war games harder.
But the Taiwan team says the rain did not bother them.
They said when they were training (訓練) in Taiwan, Typhoon Muifa came close to the island.
So the team was used to tug of war in the rain!
台灣其中一個代表隊出國前訓練時，遇到梅花颱風外圍環流，剛好讓選手在雨中練習時。
The team says they had not competed much in the past two years, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
So they were very happy to do so well.

滅絕70年後 獵豹重返印度
Cheetahs Return to India
Cheetahs are making a comeback (復出) in India.
Back in 1952, cheetahs (獵豹) were officially extinct (絕種) in India.
That means there were no more wild cheetahs in the country.
印度野生獵豹在70年前就消失了。
Cheetahs are strong and fast.
In fact, they're the world's fastest animals on land.
For a short time, they can run at speeds of up to 113 kilometers an hour.
That's about as fast as a car on the highway!
Experts say many wild cheetahs in India were killed by hunters.
And other wild cheetahs died because they had no food, or had no place to live.
But now, 20 cheetahs are coming to India.
Five females and three males have already arrived in India.
The cheetahs are coming from South Africa and Namibia.
This is the first time that a large carnivore (肉食動物) is being moved from one continent to another, and put into the wild.
The cheetahs made the trip on a Boeing 747 plane.
Then they were flown in a helicopter to Kuno National Park, in Madhya Pradesh state.
The park is about 750 square kilometers large.
That's about the size of three Taipei Cities!
There are lots of wild animals in the park, including antelope (羚羊) and wild boar (野豬).
The cheetahs will go through a month-long quarantine (隔離一個月) before they are released into the park.
This is to make sure they are healthy and strong.
Then, experts hope the cheetahs can be released into the park.

女神卡卡演唱會被暴風雨打斷
Lady Gaga Cancels Concert Due to Storm
Lady Gaga had to stop a concert, because of a big storm (暴風雨).
The singer was performing (表演) in Florida, at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.
But near the end of her show, lightning started to strike very close to the stadium.
The Hard Rock Stadium does not have a full roof (屋頂), so Gaga had to stop the show.
She told the 65,000 fans that she had to call off the concert.
邁阿密的硬石體育場是半露天的大型體育場，雨勢加上打雷閃電跟場地很近，主辦單位只好宣布中斷演出。
Before the show was cancelled, fans sang Gaga's song "Rain On Me".
But in the end, Lady Gaga said she was worried someone would get hurt.
She asked everyone to get home safely, and thanked them for coming to the show.
