Sometimes even neoconservative Lincolnites get something right. Michael Lind doesn't think Confederate statues should stay up, but he correctly identifies the real problem in modern America: Yankees. Lind suggests that much of what we are seeing in modern society is "Yankee revenge." I agree, though with some corrections to his narrative.
