John Adams called the vice presidency the worst job ever invented. It was supposed to be irrelevant, at least that is how it was sold to the States during ratification. Modern conceptions of the job are a distortion of originalism, but Kamala Harris might just be the right remedy. She is so bad, no one wants her to do anything.
