2020 has been a phenomenally tough year, but we couldn’t move on to 2021 without acknowledging an important milestone - Purple Radio’s 25th Birthday*. For 25 years, Durham students have run this small station, overcoming huge hurdles to broadcast amazing, creative, and, let's face it, pretty wacky content for student listeners and beyond. We’ve collected the thoughts of 13 Purple alumni, recounting their experiences of life in student radio and how it has shaped them after Durham. We're all enormously proud of this station, and hope you’ll enjoy joining us for a little celebration of all-things Purple.
