In this week’s episode, Lydia talks with Ravi Odedra and Ravi Samani about Hinduism and their experiences of practicing Hinduism at Durham University. They discuss many aspects of Hinduism, including core principles, practice vs. belief and the differences between a Western, Abrahamic view of religion in comparison to the Eastern perspective. They discuss some of their experiences of being Hindu at university and both the encouragement and enjoyment they’ve gained from being part of the Durham Hindu Society, before finally, discussing some of the misconceptions people have about Hinduism that they wish to put right.
