Description

Pub Talk- the show where four mates talk Europe’s big leagues over a continental pint or four.

The football this week: A whopper of an episode, where Archie Hodgson and Gabriel Radus, alongside insights from Matthieu Rident and Charlie Dunn take an in-depth look at the continent's major leagues outside of the Premier League.

Dimi Payet dragging an otherwise dire Marseille side to victory over basement boys Toulouse, Basque sides shocking La Liga heavyweights Real and Barca in the Copa del Rey quarters, and the shock announcement that Jurgen Klinsmann has resigned effective immediate from his post as manager of Hertha Berlin after only two and a half months are among the many topics covered this week.

Archie and Gabe also take a look at the cracking Derby di Milano, the shocking news on Monday that Alfredo Morelos was racially abused by a 12 year old boy in January's Old Firm, and the prospect of the Belgium Jupiler Pro League and the Dutch Eredivisie merging.

The pints this week: It's back to Gabriel's flat in Northern Paris; and with Archie charged to get the beers again, it's not surprise he forgot once again. To be fair to the resident Scot, he battled illness to make the pod, so we'll let him off. A diet coke and a water for the live panel- we are sure that Matthieu was sipping on a Russian vodka when recording though, and Archie is 99.9% certain that Charlie might have been a few pints down on the snowy peaks of the Alps when he sent us in his thoughts. So at least 50% of the crew were drinking.
