This episode I’ll be looking at three main art movements to help tell the story of the French Revolution. The great social, political, and cultural change that occurred in France over the 18th and 19th centuries will be told through ‘The Swing’ by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, ‘Liberty Leading the People’ by Eugene Delacroix, and the ‘Gleaners’ by Jean-Francois Millet.
