Description

In this episode of Voices in the Silence, I’m joined once again by my good friend and retired United States Marine, Juan. He continues to share his transformative journey with ayahuasca and his experience at Rythmia in Costa Rica. Picking up where we left off in Episode 4, Juan opens up about moments of love and forgiveness, especially with his wife and younger self.

This episode highlights the profound impact of personal growth, spirituality, and the power of love in overcoming past struggles. It’s a beautiful reminder that we are valued, seen, not alone, and always loved.

Ayahuasca, a plant medicine with centuries of use in the Amazon, is traditionally guided by a shaman in ceremonial settings to heal mental, physical, and spiritual ailments. Its use has steadily gained popularity in the Western world, particularly for addressing depression, anxiety, addiction, and PTSD. Ayahuasca is said to reveal the gap between who we think we are and who we truly are.

Juan shares a powerful message about learning to value ourselves, embracing the courage to be seen, and remembering that we are never alone on our journeys.
