The Avalanche accumulated their second regulation loss to the Islanders in 6-3 beating. Nathan MacKinnon then scored the nastiest backhand of all time to clutch the Avs second OT victory. They dispatched the Flyers in good time but couldn't dispatch the worst team in the division in a shootout. The Sharks can now only finish games with a 4-1 score and do you know the muffin man?
