PGA Tour – BMW Championship (Caves Valley, Maryland)Scottie Scheffler captured his fifth PGA Tour title of 2025, closing at 15-under, two strokes clear of Robert MacIntyre. Maverick McNealy finished third at −11. With this win, Scheffler became the first player since Tiger Woods (2006–07) to secure at least five victories in back-to-back seasons. He credited his patience and a rehearsed 82-foot chip-in at the 17th as pivotal.
LPGA Tour – Standard Portland ClassicJapan’s Akie Iwai produced a flawless bogey-free 66 on Sunday to reach 24-under, four shots ahead of Gurleen Kaur. Calling it a “special year” for her and her twin sister, Iwai added another chapter to Japan’s surge in women’s golf.
