This week on the Tiny Pod is all About Grief.
Grief is found in the everyday, it begins in birth with that first loss of connection from the safety of the womb and compounds throughout childhood with every lost micro connection, trauma, neglect, and moments of rejection and humiliation just for being ourself. We learn early to carry it silently, to adapt, to cope using all the coping mechanisms we can find- denial, avoidance, fantasy, illusion, repression. We get so familiar carrying grief it becomes “normal” and “familiar” in our nervous system. But unfelt grief is heavy, exhausting and impacts us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
When we allow ourselves to feel our grief, to acknowledge our losses and witness our past hurts, we free ourselves from being run by the past. We step into presence, and power.
There is so much collective grief in the world now it can feel debilitating if we are still carrying our own unprocessed personal grief. As we heal, we create space and capacity to connect, to love, to act and to experience joy fully, deeply, now.
See you next week week,
