This weekend is the biggest of the racing calendar, with 2 events from the triple crown of motorsport taking place on the same afternoon. The Indianapolis 500 (or just the Indy 500 as it is often referred to) is one of the oldest motor races with a rich history, but what grants it the title of being "the greatest spectacle of racing"? Why have you heard fans talking about "the month of May"? And what do you need to know ahead of the race on Sunday?
I am delighted to be joined by special guest Tom Gaymor, Sky Sports F1 commentator (amongst other roles!), talking about his career, the 2025 NTT Indycar Series Championship so far, and looking ahead to the main event and predictions.
The 109th running of the Indy 500 has already provided some incredible stories so far - A rookie on pole position, multiple heavy crashes, guest entrants, and major controversy surrounding the top team. And that is all before the race! It is going to be an incredible race, and I hope you will all be watching on Sunday, whether Indycar veterans or joining for your first Indy 500!
