In this kickoff episode of The YLF30 Podcast, I break down the foundation of what we’ll be exploring together, and that’s the inside/out approach to health, fitness, and self-connection. You’ve probably been told that changing your appearance is the key to feeling like you’re enough. I’ve been there too. Whether it was early messages I received because of having cerebral palsy or what I later saw professionally in the fitness and marketing industries, I realized most of us are taught to change from the outside in.
But that mindset keeps us stuck. Instead, I want to help you build from within. This means creating a life where your eating, movement, and daily habits are based on your preferences. It also means redefining how you see yourself in the mirror and working on the mindset that drives your actions.
We’ll go deeper into how to build your foundation of self-acceptance and how to maintain it, how to stop chasing validation from others, and how to turn this process into something you actually enjoy doing... not just something you feel like you should do.
This is the start of a series that will challenge what you’ve been told about your body and help you move forward with intention.
