In January 2006 Rob and Mandy embarked on an unforgettable trip to Sydney, Australia, filled with vibrant experiences and breathtaking scenery. Their adventure began with Australia Day, a celebration of national pride that brought the city alive with festivities.

They found themselves at Circular Quay, where a colorful flotilla of boats paraded across the sparkling waters, creating a lively backdrop for the celebrations. The atmosphere was electric as locals and tourists alike gathered to enjoy music, dance, and delicious food. Rob couldn’t resist trying a steak pie shaped like Australia’s coastline, savoring the unique blend of flavors while soaking in the joyful spirit around him.

After the excitement of Australia Day, Rob and Mandy ventured into the stunning Blue Mountains. Rising early, they joined a bus tour that took them through picturesque landscapes dotted with eucalyptus trees and dramatic cliffs. Their first stop was at the Nepean River, where they enjoyed a coffee break, taking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. The journey continued to the Jamison Valley, where they were treated to awe-inspiring views of clouds rolling through the valley,

Their travels then took them to St Kilda, a vibrant suburb of Melbourne known for its beach and lively atmosphere. It was here that they experienced the excitement of seeing UB40 live in concert. The energy of the crowd was palpable as they danced and sang along to the reggae rhythms.
