Description

This prayer is to seek God’s protection over children and to pray for their deliverance from worldly influences. It emphasizes a desire for them to grow in godliness, rooted in Scripture, and to experience the fullness of a relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of praise, for You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords, mighty and full of glory (1 Timothy 6:15).

You are the Light of the world, shining in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).

You are the Good Shepherd who leads and protects us, guiding us into paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

You are holy, and Your ways are perfect; Your wisdom is beyond measure, and Your love is everlasting (Psalm 145:3).

We exalt You, Lord, for You are the giver of life and the One who watches over us and our children.

Father, I lift up the children who hear this prayer, asking for Your divine intervention in their lives.

Protect them from the influence of this world, guarding their hearts and minds from ungodly friends, unhealthy social media content, and the distractions of phone and tablet addictions (Proverbs 4:23).

Lord, Your Word tells us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).

I ask that You transform their minds and draw them closer to You, so that they may know Your will, which is good, pleasing, and perfect.

Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will point them to You,

And let them find joy in the fellowship of those who seek after righteousness (Proverbs 13:20).

May their hearts be filled with a hunger and thirst for Your Word, just as a deer pants for streams of water (Psalm 42:1).

Awaken a desire within them to spend time with You, reading the Scriptures and seeking Your face in prayer.

Let Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth, teaching them to walk in Your ways and to grow in their relationship with Jesus (John 16:13).

Lord, I pray that they would find true satisfaction and purpose in You alone,

That they would understand the depth of Your love for them and be rooted and grounded in that love (Ephesians 3:17-19).

May they be filled with the fullness of Your Spirit, experiencing the joy of Your presence and the peace that only You can give (Galatians 5:22-23).

In the name of Jesus, who came to set the captives free and give abundant life (John 10:10),

I ask for deliverance from all that would lead them away from You,

And for a renewed passion to seek You above all else.

May they grow into mighty men and women of God, shining Your light in a world that needs You.

Amen.
