Prayer for the Salvation of Loved Ones
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise and gratitude. You are the God of all creation, mighty to save and overflowing with mercy. We worship You for Your faithfulness and love, which endures forever, just as Your Word says in Psalm 86:15, “But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” Thank You for Your desire that all would come to know You and experience Your salvation.
Lord, Your Word declares in 2 Peter 3:9 that You are “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” We hold onto this promise, Father, as we lift up our loved ones before You. We praise You, God, because You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). You are the Light of the World, calling every soul out of darkness and into Your marvelous light.
As we pray for the salvation of those we hold dear, we ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to Your truth. Ezekiel 36:26 says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Lord, we ask that You touch their hearts in a way only You can, drawing them toward Your grace and transforming their lives.
We thank You, Father, for the work You are already doing and for the promise that “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). We believe that You hear our prayers, and we ask all of this with faith, in the powerful and saving name of Jesus. Amen.
