Description

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with praise, for You are the God who is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8).

You are the Healer of our hearts and the Restorer of our souls, worthy of all honor and glory.

Your mercies are new every morning, and Your faithfulness reaches to the heavens (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Lord, I lift up Your holy name, for You are the God who does wonders, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

There is none like You, O God, mighty to save and rich in mercy (Ephesians 2:4-5).

I lift up the one who hears this prayer, and I ask for Your healing touch to rest upon their heart.

Lord, You know the pain they have carried, the wounds of broken relationships, and the weight of bitterness that has held them captive.

I ask that You pour out Your love into their heart through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5),

And bring healing to every place where resentment and anger have taken root.

Father, Your Word says that we should be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as You have forgiven us in Christ (Ephesians 4:32).

Grant them the grace to release the hurt, to forgive, and to find peace in Your presence.

Where anger has been, let there be gentleness; where bitterness has grown, let there be love.

Break every chain that binds them to past pain,

And set them free to walk in the freedom that You promise through Your Son, Jesus Christ (John 8:36).

Lord, just as You have promised to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3),

I ask that You would mend the broken pieces of their heart.

Replace the spirit of heaviness with a garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3),

That they may find joy and hope in You once again.

Help them to trust You with their future,

Knowing that You have plans for them, plans for peace and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding,

Guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

In the name of Jesus, who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4),

I ask for complete healing and deliverance from all bitterness, resentment, and anger.

May they walk in Your light and find the joy of a restored heart.

Amen.
