French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, filed a defamation lawsuit against conservative commentator Candace Owens in Delaware Superior Court, alleging she waged a “relentless year-long campaign” spreading false claims that Brigitte Macron was born male. The 22-count, 219-page complaint accuses Owens of promoting these “outlandish” lies through her podcast and YouTube series “Becoming Brigitte” to boost her platform and profit, causing “global humiliation” and reputational harm to the Macrons.
