Description

Welcome to The [Inclusion] Conversation Podcast!

This podcast dives into the world of work, careers, and life for Adoptees, Foster Care Alumni, our allies, parents, child welfare professionals, policy experts, and all within the Adoptee and Foster's orbit.

This episode features Maria Douglas, a Korean, transracial Adoptee and Community Advocate in conversation with our Founder & CEO, Grace Yung Foster, who is also the host of the show.

During this episode, we talk about Maria's journey as she navigates her Adoptee and Asian American identities in India, and why representation is so important in places where there gaps in community for Adoptees and Fosters, and other under-represented groups. We hear about the 3 mantras she lives by, and her wisdom and insight on how we can take care of ourselves, and take care of each other.

To note, next week, we will have the best-selling published, Adoptee author Nicole Chungwith us. She has won awards and on best sellers lists such as The New York Times. Stay tuned next week!
