The Reality of the Call
Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ “by the will of God.”
Timothy had the “gift of God” for service by the laying on of Paul’s hands.
Jeremiah was called of God before his birth.
The Urgency of the Call
It us urgent because we are accountable.
If you don’t fulfill the call you will still have to give an account before God.
It is urgent because the time is short.
It is urgent because souls are at stake.
It is a privilege to be called.
The Response to the Call (Isaiah 6:1-8)
God’s holiness calls for us to respond.
Out unworthiness calls us to respond.
God’s work in our own lives calls for us to respond.
The honor of working for God calls for us to respond.
Conclusion
God’s call is His enablement.
