Welcome to the San Diego County Fair's Insider Guide to what to know before you go to the San Diego County Fair.
Here at the Fair, we are here to make your visit unforgettable and to kick off your summer on a high note. With a little preparation, the Fair can be easy to navigate — and welcoming for everyone, especially those who could benefit from extra support or quieter spaces.
If you bought your ticket online at SDFair.com, and you cannot locate it, check your spam folder. The ticket was emailed to you upon purchase.
When you arrive at the Fair, there are certain things you cannot bring inside. These include pets, bicycles, skateboards, and wheeled devices, selfie sticks, umbrellas, drones, laser pointers, weapons of any kind, or alcohol or drugs.
You CAN bring the following into the Fair: bags, purses, limited food and beverages, water bottles, smart coolers, cameras and lenses, strollers, and wagons.
You can find the full Customer Code of Conduct at SDFair.com/Rules
You should also know that admission, parking, rides and games, food stands, and official merchandise vendors only accept credit or debit cards -- not cash. If you want to exchange your cash for a prepaid debit card, the Fair features several "Reverse ATM" machines.
You should also know a few more things to help everyone have a Fair-Tastic Day.
1. Water refill stations are located throughout the Fairgrounds.
2. Mobility devices may be rented in advance online or on-site through the Guest Services Office.
3. In partnership with Kulture City, the Fair provides a Sensory Station with tools like noise-cancelling headphones and fidget items.
4. Guests can find accessible parking near O’Brian Gate, which is also the off-site shuttle drop off.
5. You can ride your bike to the Fair, but you cannot bring them into the Fairgrounds. Bikes can be parked at the racks near the O'Brien and Arena Gates.
