Sonia | Host of Un-Seen Legacies of Childhood

" Comparing yourself constantly to other people you never quite measure up, and you don't allow you to be you" - Sonia

Bullied from the age of five, Sonia spent much of her life staying small—unseen, unheard, and trying to blend in. Now in her 50s, she has reclaimed her voice—and she’s using it with purpose. As the creator and host of Un-Seen Legacies of Childhood, Sonia sheds light on how our earliest experiences shape the adults we become.

With a Master’s in Children, Youth and International Development, a Level 2 NVQ in Adverse Childhood Experiences, and hands-on work with organisations like Coram’s Children Charity and Care4Calais, Sonia brings both personal insight and professional depth to every conversation.

Her mission is clear: to break silences, raise awareness, and advocate for change. She believes every child deserves to be taught self-trust, self-regulation, and self-confidence—not later, but early.

Her podcast speaks directly to those carrying hidden childhood wounds and to anyone committed to ending cycles of generational pain.
