Description

Chen Weiming (1881–1958), also known as Chen Zengze, was a highly accomplished scholar and martial artist from a distinguished family.

He excelled in academics, passing civil service exams and working in the Qing History Office, while also mastering Xingyiquan, Bagua, and Tai Chi Chuan under renowned instructors.

Significantly, Chen authored several influential books on Tai Chi, making the art more accessible to the public, and his works remain important historical resources.

Despite not amassing a large personal following as a teacher, his written contributions secured his legacy within the Tai Chi community.
