I spoke with Palos Verdes High’s Athletic Director, Brian Shapiro about of hoops the school has had to jump through in order to make Nov. 15’s Friday Night Lights: Playoff Edition happen. He’s been with the school since 2006, and AD for the last 10 years. Shapiro graduated from Peninsula High and remembers what it was like as a student having to travel to watch playoff games the school was “hosting”.
