"Napoli - New York" is a film directed by Gabriele Salvatores, set in the immediate post-war period in Naples. The story follows Celestina, a poor girl who has lost everything due to the bombings, and Carmine, a mischievous but good-hearted boy. Together, they try to survive and board a ship headed to New York in search of a new life.
