Paris, Texas is a 1984 road movie directed by German filmmaker Wim Wenders. It tells the story of Travis Henderson (Harry Dean Stanton), a man who mysteriously disappears for four years and then reappears in the Texas desert. His brother, Walt (Dean Stockwell), finds him and brings him back to Los Angeles to reunite with his estranged family.
As Travis attempts to reconnect with his young son, Hunter, who he has never met, he struggles with the emotional and psychological scars of his past. The film explores themes of loss, isolation, and the search for identity as Travis grapples with the consequences of his disappearance and the challenges of rebuilding his life.
